Campaign for The Loom

for the loom’s latest collection, we wanted to move away from the typical high-glitz fashion shoot and lean into something far more intimate and cinematic. velvet is all about tactile luxury, so our creative direction focused capturing the rich, deep tones of the fabric in a setting that felt personal and timeless. instead of bright, flat lighting, we used soft, directional shadows to emphasize the weight and sheen of the velvet. by placing the subject in a moody, grounded environment we created a visual story that feels lived-in rather than staged. this approach allowed the intricate gold detailing and the plush texture of the garments to stand out as the natural centerpieces of the frame. the resulting imagery gave the loom a sophisticated, editorial edge that resonates with a woman who values both comfort and high-end craft.
